First Blog Post: Small Goals for May

I have been a bit inspired by the whole small goals idea. I discovered this idea on the blog XO Mia.  Mia has been challenging herself to accomplish a few smaller goals a month, and for my easily distracted, chaotic brain this seems like something more manageable than long term goals. It's like cutting your food into bite-sized chunks before trying to eat it, it seems like it might make things less messy in the long run. That inspiration lead to this little blog because blogging again happens to be one of my May goals. I didn't really want to write about what I did before, so I am starting fresh.
I am going to divide my goals into three categories as a means of making it easier for me to see where I need the most work for the next month (and also because I could probably use the extra organizational step).

May Goals:

     Mom Goals:
       * Go on two adventures a week with my awesome two-year-old
       * Slowly re-start potty training efforts
       * Do one artistic/ exploratory activity a day

     Me Goals:
       * Clean my entire house top to bottom by the end of the month
       * Begin Yoga classes and exercise daily
       * Begin studying for the GRE

     Writing goals:
       * Write creatively for at least 30 minutes a day
       * Write two blog posts this month (start blog)

So, I begin with 8 small goals. I am excited to see how it goes and what this blog turns into.
